With the summer break on the horizon, all my school who are teaching friends see May half term as a chance to get into holiday mode! This year Tom S, Dan, Dave & I drove through the night to get to Switzerland to make the most of the water left in bedrock rivers.
Lots of coffee, car camping and kayaking later we moved onto Italy and hit up the classics around Val Sessia.
Highlight of the trip would be running the Rovanna for the first time. Despite low levels elsewhere, this still held its water well.
